Full description
This entirely hand-stitched piece of work consists of a tree, made up of individually stitched leaves with tiny white flowers in-between. Two hand-cut miniature applique birds are stitched in the centre with a heart motif between their beaks, representing Mr and Mrs Blackbird, planning their future life together!
I have pieced together a border around the tree from an array of cotton fabrics, in pretty miniature prints, adding a few very small vintage buttons here and there.
The textile is framed in a lightly distressed brown wood frame with a little limewax rubbed into the grain giving it a vintage look. The frame measures 9" square (23cms) and the work will arrive with glass in place, corded, with my studio stamp on the back, all ready to hang on your wall.The work would make a lovely gift for engagement, wedding, new baby or any special time. A gift to last a lifetime!
I always pack my embroideries with great care so you can be sure it will arrive in perfect condition. You will only pay one delivery charge of £5.50 (1st Class Royal Mail) no matter how many framed items are in your basket. (All cards are post free)
