Full description
Textile 'Mum' Heart Brooch. A perfect little something to gift to Mum, on her Birthday, for Mothers Day, maybe as a 'Mother of the Bride' gift, or perhaps just to show how much you appreciate and love her.
Designed and stitched by me in my Home Studio, in a small town in County Durham, this Brooch was developed not only to create a little something for Mum, but also as a way to use up small scraps of fabrics and lace, therefore saving them from Landfill.
The stitching technique used is a Free Hand Machine Embroidered Technique, which enables me to draw with my needle and thread. Finished with some hand embroidery and hand stitched beads, the brooch incorporates my love of pretty floral fabrics and vintage lace, along with natural fibres such as wool felt.
A Brooch Bar is attached to the reverse which will enable Mum to display it and accessorise her favourite outfit, bag, or Macrame Rope Bowl.
Each Brooch is individually Hand Made and therefore will have unique qualities.
Your Brooch will be sent to you mounted onto a decorated piece of cold press watercolour paper.
