My Folksy shop has been dozing through the Summer Craft Fair season, but now I'm back in the Workshop, making lovely new things and taking photos.
I'll be adding new items here as quickly as I can. However, anything you have seen on my stall or on another website should be available to buy through Folksy - just message me and I'll re-stock the item here.
About Harris Tweed:
Harris Tweed is a very special fabric; in order to be certified genuine and granted the “Harris Tweed Orb symbol” it has to be
"Handwoven by the islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides, finished in the Outer Hebrides, and made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides."
In this ever-changing mass-produced world it is a joy to find something so traditional, truly handmade and sustainable. I love working with the many colours and designs of this British classic, and you will find many Harris tweed items in my shop.

Full description
An unusual gift - a pyramid shaped purse hand-made from Harris tweed! I have made this unusual purse from a blue herringbone design of the world renowned Harris tweed fabric for the outside, and a toning cotton fabric for the lining. The "Orb" label, your guarantee of genuine hand-woven Harris tweed, is proudly displayed.
This is my smaller size pyramid purse, measuring 10cm each side. It features a zipper close up one side, and a handy little clasp on the top to clip the purse onto your bag or belt loop.
A useful little gift, this sweet purse will be wrapped in tissue and tied up with a ribbon, ready for giving or as a treat for yourself. To get your lovely purchase to you quickly and safely I use Royal Mail tracked / signed for services. Save on postage for two or more items bought from my shop at the same time.
As with all Roses Workshop items, this has been made by myself in my Lancashire workshop. Custom orders are welcome.
