Inspiration- SciFi film, The 'Body snatchers' pods I guess?
It looks a little like a huge seed pod or alien egg.
....& with those fangs? teeth? talons? Its not overly conducive to helping yourself from its contents, so maybe put the kids crisps/snacks in there?
Craquelure like effect, almost like a Raku fired piece of ceramics...but its not!
It is made from Papier-mâché, so whilst wiping with a slightly damp cloth is fine...filling it with water is a NO NO! It would get a soggy bottom & lets face it, nobody wants a soggy bottom!
