Using traditional jewellery making techniques I have made this lovely seahorse pendant by cutting the seahorse and background out with my jewellers saw before soldering with my jewellers torch. The seahorse is hand engraved and the pendant has an oxidised finish.

Measuring approx 31mm x 14mm, this pendant is made in sterling silver and comes with an 18" chain (please specify when ordering if you would prefer 16").

I have always been drawn to the sea and love days out along the Yorkshire coast. Looking out to sea has a calming effect on the soul, there is a whole different world under the waves and it feeds the imagination. Seahorses are one of my favourite sea creatures, it's no wonder they are depicted so often in mythology. I have given my seahorses a horses mane, I'd like to think they live with mermaids deep in the ocean!
