Full description
I have made the pattern on this brooch by drawing a steel point through the surface of the enamel while the heart shape was at red hot in the kiln. The pattern is therefore random and unique. Dependant on the intensity and direction of light striking the brooch, speckles of green and white show behind the blue from the base enamel coat built up before the decorative coat was applied.
The brooch measures 40mm at its widest points. I have soldered a 26mm brooch to the reverse. The brooch pin fastens with a rotating catch.
