Handmade signed piece of art, using sustainable materials.

Stitched by hand with vintage thread.

It is not a print, but a one-off. There are some absolutely beautiful prints here on Folksy, however this is not one of them. It is an original piece of art. It will never be reproduced. Since there is absolutely no way to tell the difference between a print and original art from a photograph, I am (perhaps wrongly) compelled to harp on about it. Forgive me.

8.5cms x 12.5cms, unframed with envelope.

Recycled packaging, sewn from used magazines and stuff. Let me know if you would like my free gift wrapping service.

Price includes UK postage (First Class Signed For). Royal Mail Tracked and Signed for overseas parcels (you may be charged Customs Duty if you live outside the EU).

Not advisable for the art, or you, to stand in direct sunlight for prolonged periods.

It is extremely difficult (if not impossible) to be an ethical consumer these days. However, it is a bit easier to be an ethical maker, and I try to do my bit by using recycled materials.

The base of the card, and envelope, is from a charity shop Paperchase pack. The yellow paper inside is from a charity shop vintage address book. I stitched the yellow paper inside as the purple paper is impossible to write on with regular ink. Maybe this is why the original owner didn't use them?

The rose is cut from an advert in Woman's Weekly, 1981.

The white thread used for my signature was a surprise gift from fellow Folksy seller, Trudi Murray Art And Illustration. It once belonged to her mam. That's how we roll here at Folksy.
