A linocut print of a stylized hand holding a bunch of flowers (tulips)- a popular motif in Victorian times that symbolized love and care. I think this symbolism still stands today and I wanted to create a print in a more understated, contemporary way. Single colour in Prussian blue ink (dark blue).
This is a handcut linoprint based on my original drawing, then hand printed on good quality paper (220gm off white) using water based ink.
The print is 30cm (12 inches) by 25cm (10 inches) to fit in a standard frame. The frame is not included.
Each print sent in a cellophane sleeve with extra card to protect it.
