My Folksy shop is still open and I hope you find something you love! Please note that although I always aim to send orders as quickly as possibly, I’m currently home schooling and trying to reduce my trips to the Post Office, so it may take a little longer than usual for your parcel to arrive. I will update you via email regarding despatch times. To make things easier for you, I can also gift wrap any presents, I can add a hand-written note and send your order directly to the recipient – just leave me a note when you checkout. Thank you so much.
Embroidered flowers in beautiful wool thread on a wool felt background in yellow. Inspired by Jacobean Crewel Embroidery I have designed this piece to use many different stitches to create texture and detail.
I have used Appleton crewel wool - William Morris used the same wool in his textile work- to depict a summer garden. French knots, trellis work, leaf stitch and stem stitch are among the stitches used here.
The hoop art measures 6” / 15cm in diameter.
The embroidery can be hung from the wall or displayed on a shelf.
The hoop art will be wrapped carefully in recyclable packaging. 1st Class postage is free to U.K. addresses.
