I love working on commissions and capturing the essence of my subjects. A bespoke painting of a special day can be a gorgeous keepsake, or maybe even a first anniversary 'paper' gift?

Celebrate your wedding, partnership or anniversary with a watercolour illustration of the happy day. Or just celebrate your togetherness with a unique and personal bespoke keepsake.
I love capturing characters in my simple 'picture book' style. I can work in hand-drawn ink outlines with bright, vivid watercolours to create a vibrant look, or can use a softer, pencil outline with a lighter touch and more delicate colouring if you'd prefer. You can add a note about this and any other relevant details at the checkout stage.
My line drawn figures can be set against a simple garden background taken from the palette of the bouquet or outfits. Please supply 2-3 photos, perhaps showing your favourite pose, and giving me a good idea of the outfits, heights, hair style/colour etc. I will pick out the little details in the hairdos, flowers and outfits to make it special to you. Photos can be sent via my contact details listed in my shop.
Do note though that my style has a simple 'picture book' look and is intended to convey a resemblance rather than forensic portrait.

Painted on Daler Rowney high-quality watercolour paper. Supplied with mount, unframed, in a protective cello bag. Posted in a hard back envelope.
I will send a rough pencil sketch for review and on approval I will begin painting. Alterations will no longer be able to be made at this point.
