Full description
I have created this bobble hat on a knitting machine using a 2 x 2 rib stitch. The yarn is a lovely variegated orange, brown and green 4 ply wool and nylon sock yarn, and the hat has been gathered at the top, where the pompom is securely attached.
The hat has a circumference of 18" (maximum circumference when stretched is 24"), and a knitted length of 9.5" (excluding pom pom), with the brim folded down, so can be folded to suit any fit. The 2 x 2 rib stitch is very stretchy and will fit a variety of sizes, but does also hold its shape well.
I would recommend a hand wash in cool water.
