Full description
Beautiful red eclectus, needle felted bird made from gorgeous scarlet wool with blue highlights. The red of this species are female where as the males are a bright green. It's very unusual to see such a difference in the colouring of parrots over the genders and they were originally thought to be separate species when first discovered!
This lovely needle felted bird is made from 100% organically farmed Falklands merino wool tops, hand felted using special needles this bird has lovely silver, paper wrapped wire feet.
Stands at approx 5-6 cms tall.
