Welcome to Silver Birch Studio. My shop features a wide selection of handmade jewellery items, mainly in sterling silver with semi-precious stones. Copper and beaded jewellery are also featured. I have plenty of items in stock ready for immediate despatch.

Full description
This gorgeous necklace has as its focal point a Maple leaf, pierced from copper sheet and imprinted with a leaf skeleton. To trace the shape I used a leaf from a lovely deep red tree in my own garden. The copper has been oxidised to give a darker antique-style finish and treated with Renaissance wax to preserve the patina. The necklace comprises a selection of gemstone nuggets in vibrant autumn colours - orange jade, lemon quartz, picture Jasper and brown goldstone with its tiny sparkling inclusions. There are also a few Czech crystal beads with coppery centres. The bolt and ring clasp, pendant bail and jump rings are all made of Sterling Silver. The necklace will be packaged securely in a gift bag or box and sent to you by Royal Mail first class post.
