I'm generally know as a cat-person, but I do find dogs very interesting creatures too. Woody has this rather knowing look about him, and is the calmest dog I've ever seen!

Full description
This is a linocut/screen-print entitled entitled 'Woody' printed in dark grey and light blue.
Woody is a real dog, a collie cross, who belongs to some good friends of mine. As soon as I met him he seemed like a very striking creature. He kindly agreed to sit (actually stand) for a portrait and here is the result!
Light blue and dark grey System 3 inks on off-white 290gsm acid-free Antique Seawhite paper. From a limited edition of only 20, signed, titled and numbered. I created the image initially as a linocut print, and then transferred the image to a silk-screen to hand-print the edition.
The print image measures H34xW32.5cm.
The paper measures H56xW38cm.
Printed by myself at Sheffield Print Club, Sheffield, UK. Each one is slightly different, as is the nature with screen-prints.
All prints will be posted securely in a card tube and sent by first-class post (UK) or Airmail (rest of the world).
