Item details

This shade is for a lamp and is 20cm wide and 18cm high. It features a bee bouncing from felt flower to felt flower round the shade with a stitched line to show where he's been. This design is called "bee bounce" and can be personalised by incorporating a name into the trail. This shade is in an autumnal colour palette. A removeable adaptor ring enables the shade to be used with both European and UK sized lamp fittings.
The lamp base is not included. The first two photos are of this shade whilst the pink colourway and the personalised detail are for illustrative purposes only in case you would like to contact me to choose the personalised option.

I love saving items from landfill and after using the printed images from coffee sacks I was left with plain pieces. These are now the backgrounds for three ranges of lampshades, this being "bee bounce". I had fun sewing the journey the little bee makes as he flies from flower to flower on his tiny silver ribbon wings and that led to a second one in a pink and grey colour palette utilising the bee's journey to spell out a name.
