Here is a primitive style patchwork ticker tape throw, raw edged throw known as ticker tapes.

Can be used on the end of a single bed, a chair throw, to drape over a blanket box or small table, on the back of the sofa or as a lap blanket.

This is a unique piece of needlework, no two are ever the same due to the random nature of the pieces used.

Ticker tape throws are randomly sewn pieces of fabric with the raw edges visible so it gives you a unique look.

There is aprox 200 fabric pieces all sewn on the machine.

I try not to use the same pattern next to each other to give it variety.

The size is 29" x 39".

The throw is 100% cotton.

Sewn onto sand coloured Laura Ashley plain cotton front and back. The back is plain.

The colours are varying shades of rust red and wine with accents of green and blue.

machine washable at 30c, warm tumble dry.

After washing it you will need to carefully trim off the excess thread as it frays, this is quite normal, in fact the more it frays the prettier it looks.

This throw has been fully laundered, nicely frayed, and ready to use.
