After showing some diner guests and friends my previous tealight boxes, it was commented that they were almost a decent size to take on your travels ..but not quite. Hence a smaller type was made. In regards to coming up with the design on how it looked, it was pretty much determined by the amount of off cut strips I had collected for so long. I have also seen many interesting laminated chopping boards on the market. This made me ask, why does this effective method have to stop at chopping boards?

Full description
Small, elegant and tactile tealight box. Made from strips of hard wood all laminated together, giving an effective look. The sides of this one are made with; Walnut wood, Oak, Maple, and Puduke. The top has a thick veneer of rosewood. All these woods help decorate a pine wood made chassis, designed to hold 3-4 tealights (depending on their size) One side of the box acts as a clever sliding door to access the tealights kept inside the box Because this box is smaller It could be a nice little travel companion. The outside dimensions are 7cm x 7cm x 8cm tall.
