Oh I just can't resist a lovely piece of old embroidery. This beautiful table cloth must have been worked by someone with such high skills. I am glad I could rescue some fragments from the tea stains, and give it a new lease of life.

Sweet pea vintage embroidery across your body occasions bag.
This across your body bag is covered in vintage sweet pea embroidery.Perfect for special occasions, weddings or Summer Festivals.
Practical as well as pretty, it could be used for storing precious mementos or for hanging up as a piece of craft work in its own right. It would make a lovely present for a bride or as a special Mothers Day present as well as a gift for a lover of textiles.
The embroidery is backed onto canvas to give it some strength, but it has a softly washed feel.
It measures 20 cm across.
It measures 22 cm down.
There is a purple zip fastening 20 cm long, with a flower head pull.
There is a bunch of sweet peas on the front, and a trail of flowers across the back.
The lining is 1980s cream and green patterned furnishing fabric, with an inside pocket approx 10 cm by 10 cm.
The strap is soft, and measures 132 cm. It is covered in washed and faded blue ric rac braid.
The bag is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
I like to reuse where possible. Your bag will be posted out wrapped in clean, recycled packaging.
It will be posted out as Royal Mail 2nd class signed for which takes about 3 days, and will therefore need a signature on arrival
