Full description
I have made some wormery homes for children to fill with soil, sand, gravel, etc and then add garden worms to see them dig and tunnel their way through the different layers of material.
It is roughly 300mm long x 200mm tall and 25mm thick with clear Perspex panels front and rear, so that it is safe for children to play with.
I have made a wooden top that sits on the top of the frame.
The wood is from a recycled source and the parcel will be posted using recycled packaging.
As you can see in the photograph, there are two stands to give it a stable base. The one in the photograph is an example, each one is hand made and may vary slightly.
If you prefer, I can supply these in kit form so that you can assemble them at home with your children or grandchildren, then go and hunt for worms in the garden!
