We used to have a set on the edge of our land when we lived in France, old 'Brock' used to rummage through our sweetcorn in the early evening.

'Badger in the Bracken' - Original, Limited Edition Linocut Reduction Print. Printed in 6 colours on a hand press. Signed, numbered and titled in pencil by the artist.
This linocut image of a Badger emerging from the lush, fern like stems of bracken has been hand cut using 2 lino plates. The first plate was used as the background plate showing the various shades of the undergrowth. The second plate was used as the reduction part of the image, where the plate is printed and then the image is cut away and printed again until the artwork is complete.
Limited Edition of 25, (plus 5 Artists Proofs), once these are all sold that's the edition finished. As the lino plates have been destroyed through the reduction process this means there can be no further prints made, meaning you've bought something very rare and rather special!
A certificate of authenticity will be supplied with the print.
Supplied in a cream mount.
Image size: 14 x 20 cms approx., (approx. 5.5" x 8").
Mount size: to fit frame 28 x 35cms, (approx. 11" x 13.75").
Printed on archival quality printing paper using water based inks.
Colour may vary from digital image.
