About a decade ago, I worked in a particularly cold office, so I made some fingerless mitts from a pattern in a magazine. My hands were so cold, I wanted something I could wear to type. I fell in love with them. I kept finding different uses for them, and found myself wearing them more and more.
There were some basic problems with the fit and style, so I decided to design my own mitts, and over the years I have experimented with yarns and sizes. I have now perfected my pattern and can carry on finding new and inventive designs for the backs.

Full description
Charcoal grey fingerless mittens with an infinite braid pattern, the length of the gloves.
Made with a gorgeously soft and squishy wool, which is so elastic that it hugs your hand tight, but stretches easily. I'm very excited to have happened upon this yarn, as it works incredibly well for mitts. Even wearing them for the short time it took to take photos, inside the house, my hands got quite hot.
Size: Small - Medium (19cm around knuckles)
They are designed to fit snugly, without any sagging, as the knit will naturally stretch slightly with wear.
Yarn: Bergere de France - pur merinos français (100% pure french merino wool)
Wool is a wonderful fibre for gloves, as it is a natural insulator and absorbs moisture, keeping you cool in the warmer months and warm in the cooler months.
Washing advice
Hand wash up to 30 degrees
Do not tumble dry
Dry flat
