100% and proudly handmade by the sea in Suffolk, UK.

This crocheted Jute Oven Mitt brings a raw natural contemporary simple style to your kitchen. Incorporates hanging loop for storage / display. Utilising Jute's innate heat-proof properties, use with care to remove hot dishes from the oven, or as a pot stand.

Designed to complement Scandi / country / rustic / minimalist interiors.

Approx 12 x 13 cm / 4.5 x 5 inches

Pale silver / dove grey & off-white

Materials:
Jute, finished with an oak button. I source the Jute from a 1922-established UK manufacturer who still uses traditional methods to produce their high quality natural product.

Care:
Wipe clean with a damp cloth.Machine washing not advisable.
Please note, as Jute is a natural fibre, the appearance and shape of this product may incorporate slight variations and irregularity, which I believe adds to its handmade charm!

Buy singly (£7.50) or as a pair (£13). If bought as a pair, only one will have a button, though both will have a hanging loop. Mix and match designs / colourways or choose the same.

Perhaps it's the time of year, but I am currently loving stars (though in honesty I like them any time of year as a motif). So several hours later, after testing out various patterns in my graph paper pad, I started crocheting this oven mitt using my favourite material, jute, in a contemporary silver-grey and off-white.

This is a unique piece designed and made by me using 100% British materials.
