Nothing says Christmas more than this tradition Scandinavian dala horse pincushion. It would make the perfect gift for anyone who sews or loves needlework.
The dala horse is a classic Nordic design usually decorated in red. It's been used to make a contemporary pincushion as part of a collection from my book '50 Pincushion to Knit and Crochet'.
It's the very spirit of hygge. Made from wool, it features a dala horse with a Fair Isle pattern border.
The perfect size to fit in a stocking or as a small gift at 10cm square or 4 inches.
