Beautifully carved deep green Jade Amulet of a twisting Oriental Dragon.
This amulet, or pendant if you prefer, has been simply drilled and with the addition of a silvertone triangle bail, length of silvertone curb chain and 2.5cm diameter split ring, and so fashioned into an interesting and unusual keyring or handbag charm.
The jade in this item is a beautiful deep green colour to the back with swirls of creamy light green tones, which are natural variations of colour within the jade.
The detailed carved jade amulet is roughly round in shape and measures approx 50mms in diameter and approx 7mms in depth. Including the Silvertone keyring findings, the whole item measures approx 10 cms in length.
Chinese Years of the dragon include: 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012, 2024, so would make a fantastic gift for anyone with a birthdate in this years, or for anyone who loves dragons or mythical creatures.
As this item is a natural gemstone, it is not unbreakable, so not for robust use.
