This pinafore apron design needed a couple of calico 'toiles' to perfect the pleated skirt and pockets, then I made design samples, like this one, in different fabrics testing weight and the way the cloth hangs.

Beautiful rich red pleated apron, perfect for entertaining & special occasions. Crisp medium-heavyweight linen and a navy cotton twill waistband, with huge deep pockets concealed behind the side pleats, long waist ties and adjustable neck ties for a good fit. Utmost attention is paid to detail, finish and strength of construction. ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE
Working at my little studio, in hilly-leafy South-East London, I make aprons in small batches, ethically made and skillfully sewn with natural fabrics and minimal waste.
SIZE: approx UK 10-18 (US 6-14). bib top to hem 96cm, waistband width 75cm, hem width 130cm, bib top to waistband 28cm.
CARE: Machine washable 30 degrees, slow spin. Do not tumble dry. Medium iron.
POSTAGE: Royal Mail Special Delivery / International 'Tracked & Signed'. Gift wrapped & boxed. Paper/card packaging from sustainable forest 100% recyclable. Paper parcel tape with plant based adhesive 100% recyclable/biodegradable.
