I enjoy making this size box as it has a substantial feel to it, whilst being quite compact. The shape and size is familiar to my style of boxes.

Full description
A contemporary styled gentleman's valet or jewellery box designed to hold accessories such as cufflinks, tie pins and other men's items. And also to keep the keys and wallet tidied away.
The box is veneered with a quarter sawn chocolatey brown American Black Walnut which is slightly figured. The edge is Walnut and is inlaid with purple/reddish brown Kingwood with black/white Sycamore lines.
The box comes with a tray which is suspended giving plenty of room underneath. The inside of the box is fully lined with a dark Peacock Green suede.
A brass sliding catch and brass hinges are also fitted.
The box is finished with hand applied shellac giving a high sheen.
Jewellery is not included.
A similar box can be made and customised in about 4-6 weeks.
