Male and female robins look very similar and are usually bold and confident, often hopping about close by while I'm gardening. They appear frequently at the bird feeders and particularly love mealworms which I sometimes put out as a special treat.

Rosie has a brown and light grey body with lovely, bright, cheerful red at the front, just like the boy robins. (I wasn’t sure how similar males and females were until I checked but they’re virtually identical.) She has a little twinkle in her eyes and was carefully created using a fine barbed felting needle to repeatedly stab dry wool fibres until the colours all blend together beautifully, giving her a unique plumage and character. As robins are out and about all the time she would love to decorate a spot in your home and keep you company through the whole year, but will also be very happy to fly to your Christmas tree for the festive season.
Rosie has features and little wings on both sides, so doesn’t mind which way round she hangs to brighten up your surroundings. She has an embroidery thread loop and is 1 cm thick where her wings are placed (she's narrower elsewhere), 9 cm across from tail to the tip of her beak and about 6 cm tall, (measurements are approximate).
Please note that she is a decoration and not a toy, and should be kept out of the reach of children as her wings and thread could be hazardous if pulled away. You will receive the robin shown in the photographs, and she will be carefully wrapped and sent by First Class post. (Overseas orders will be sent by International Standard Mail.)
Please be aware that screen monitor colours can vary, and that I work in a smoke free home but do have very enthusiastic cat help from time to time!
