Each of my kilt pin brooches is designed around a particular theme. For this one, the starting point was the image of the pink roses and bronze candelbra that I used for the cabochon, then the beads in the shades that would tone in with the colours in the cabochon image. The heart charms have become a sort of signature and I usually try to include one or two of them somewhere in my designs.

Full description
This antique bronze coloured retro themed kilt pin brooch is decorated with a glass cabochon featuring an image of pink roses and a bronze candelbra against a pink and blue background of old fashioned writing. Also used in this brooch are three antique bronze charms (a bow, a heart and flower, and another smaller heart, a watering can) and a selection of beads in various shades of to tone in with the colours in the cabochon image.
The beads featured in this brooch include four pinky bronze Czech glass flower beads, one Czech glass fire polish bead in pink tinted with bronze, and two brown and bronze tinted leaves.
The brooch is 5cms (2ins) wide and 5cms (2ins) high (this is the length of the longest dangle).
