I love exploring different folklore and traditions and came across these little guys. I have one in display in my home all year round. In Sweden the Tomte is reputed to safeguard the farmer and his family, as well as the land the farmer owned or worked on. They make fab festive decorations and I can do them in a large range of different colours.

Full description
This is a lovely hand knitted mini Scandinavian Tomte, (a mischievous little gnome from Swedish fokelore).
He is approx 7cm tall in sitting position to top of head, full height from bum right to tip of hat is 12cm). His legs are approx 6cm long (from where they join his body to the end of the boots)
He is knitted in cream with grey boots, mittens and hat and has a soft fluffy grey beard. His legs have pipecleaners inside so you can make them bendy or straight depending on where you want to put him.
Would make a great little gift or why not treat yourself to this cute companion, perfect for adding to your decorations this Christmas.
This is a collectable for decoration only, not suitable as a toy due to small parts.
