Ink and conte crayon drawing inspired by the purple heather and gritstone escarpments (Stanage and Burbage Edge) of the moors above Hathersage and the Hope Valley on the Peak District’s Eastern Moors.
This original art would make the perfect gift for someone who appreciates the beauty of the Peak District, or moody mountain and moorland landscapes. The rugged, windswept landscapes of the Dark Peak are very popular area with dog walkers, mountain bikers and ramblers from the surrounding areas of the Hope Valley and Sheffield as well as climbers drawn to the Peak District's famous gritstone crags from much further afield!
This is a large original using conte crayon and acrylic ink on 300gsm smooth watercolour paper.
