I have always loved wearing charm bracelets as they can make you feel so feminine having those little charms dangling from your wrist. I wanted to create my own version and as I now prefer the more contemporary feel of leather or cord, I wanted to make my design out of leather. I chose a very pretty, soft colour of leather for this so that it would be bright in its own way, but able to be worn with lots of different outfits. I cut the leather to size and added the little puffed heart onto a quality bail bead. I then wrapped a delicate piece of silver plated wire either side of the bail to fix it into place without using anything too bulky. I added the end beads and lobster clasp to one side and fixed the handmade with love charm to the extender chain on the opposite side. I think that this piece really works and ended up looking exactly how I wanted it to.
