Welcome to my Folksy Shop. Most of my work is inspired by Nature and Seasons, with a whimsical touch. I create original textile art, hanging decorations, cards and gifts, using a combination of fabric applique, free motion machine embroidery, hand embroidery and paint.
A lot of my designs are carefully photographed and printed onto cards and bookmarks. make gifts and accessories using Free Motion and Hand Embroidery Techniques.

Robin Christmas Garland by Michelle Corbin Design
Christmas is such a magical time and the Robin always plays a special part. The Robin Garland makes a wonderful addition to any Festive Decor. Think tradition, as the robin goes bob bob bobbing along!
Created from Felt and Printed Cotton Fabric, and the use of a Free Hand Machine Embroidered Technique and embellished with a bead for each eye. They are threaded together to create the garland, with satin ribbon, hand stitched in loops to the two end Robins, to allow you to hang in your favourite place.
There are 9 Robins in total to create a luxurious garland to hang pride of place, maybe on your Fire Surround, above a mirror, or in your window.
Measures approximately 86 cm in length and each individual Robin is approximately 6 x 9 cm
