The wilderness of the Peak District with its windswept moors, rugged gritstone tors and escarpments provides a welcome escape from our towns and cities, a place to spend time reconnecting with nature, a space to breathe and reflect. I often go back to the same places, trying to capture the energy and changing mood of the landscape, whatever the season.

Autumn Glow (unframed ORIGINAL)
This expressive ink and conte crayon drawing is inspired by the autumnal landscapes and stormy skies of the Peak District’s Eastern Moors in West Sheffield and North Derbyshire. I've used a minimal colour palette of muted purple-grey and golden yellow to suggest an autumnal scene.
A thoughtful gift idea for a walker or hiker with a love of the moody mountain and moorland landscapes of the Peak District, or perhaps a treat for yourself. My art has been well received as gifts for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, Christmas and more, particularly for those with emotional connections to Sheffield.
