freehand embroidered zombie lion bag charm or keyring - 1 red available
these ROARsome fabric zombie lions measure about 9cm (3.5 inches) tall - excluding their glorious manes, hanging loop & split ring.
i’ve layered & appliqued dark red, grey & mustard cotton fabrics onto hand dyed cotton calico and pale blue irish linen. the intricate details are drawn freehand using the free machine (free motion) embroidery technique.
lion’s eyes are hand embroidered.
the lions are entirely handmade by me on a domestic sewing machine – there’s no computer wizardry here - everything is cut, stitched & drawn freehand by me, ensuring it is unique, well made and securely constructed.
these fierce big cats are made from heavy weight cotton calico. i pre-wash all my fabrics so they’re soft and shouldn’t shrink if a machine wash is required.
they're stuffed with polyester filling (CE & BS5852) and finished by hand.
the grosgrain ribbon is securely double(triple!) stitched.
the split ring is nickel plated steel.

due to the very nature of hand dyeing, free machine embroidery and handmade each one is slightly different.
