Full description
I have collected various seaweeds from the West Country and pressed the specimens using the same technique used to press flowers. They resemble watercolours when pressed and bleed out slightly. These prints are based on the original pressings and the colours are true to the original. Most people associate seaweeds with brown bladderwrack, but when you look closely there are so many beautiful hues like olive, beetroot, fuchsia and candy floss. My personal favourite, Mr Beetroot, the colour is so beautiful a deep rich pinky purple.
This listing is for one A5 Giclee print. Giclees are made with high quality ink that doesn't fade over time like cheaper inks and its been printed on beautiful thick textured paper.
