This Organic Merino sock weight yarn is perfect for child friendly projects as it is sensitive and soft to the skin. It is certified Organic and is a 2 ply sock weight yarn .

This yarn is a hand dyed with natural dyes and is a gorgeous soft salmon pink colour.

I only use natural dyes to dye yarn with, in both plant form & extract as well as minerals & insect ( e.g.Cochineal and Lac which are both scale insects & have been used traditionally for hundreds of years) I usually use Alum & Cream of Tartar to modify my yarn .

Weight :100g skein

Approx 350mts/ 382yds. 4ply, Needles size: 3 mm to 3.75mm

Dye Used: Cochineal

To care for your yarn I would suggest that you always gently hand wash it in cool water with a gentle wool soap ( I like to use a no rinse wool wash )
