freehand embroidered zombie hedgehog bag charm or keyring - PURPLE.
these deadly little fabric zombie hedgehogs measure about 9cm (3.5 inches) wide by 6cm (2.5”) tall - excluding spikes, hanging loop & split ring.
i’ve layered & appliqued pink, mustard & grey cotton fabrics onto hand dyed cotton calico and pale blue irish linen. the intricate details are drawn freehand using the free machine (free motion) embroidery technique.
hedgepigs nose is handpainted, and he’s sporting a spikey charcoal grey mohawk.
these little zombies are entirely handmade by me on a domestic sewing machine.
everything is cut, stitched & drawn freehand by me, ensuring it is unique, well made and securely constructed.
the 'hogs are made from heavy weight cotton calico. i pre-wash all my fabrics so they’re soft and shouldn’t shrink if a machine wash is required.
they're stuffed with polyester filling (CE & BS5852) and finished by hand.
the grosgrain ribbon is securely double(triple!) stitched.
the split ring is nickel plated steel.

due to the very nature of hand dyeing, free machine embroidery and handmade each one is slightly different.
