This bureau's big Jentique brother now lives in Devon. That bureau was my most 'manly' item of upcycled furniture at that time and was far from my comfort zone. Then I found another, nearly the same design and from the same craftsmen of yesteryear. I relished the opportunity of renovating it to a similar finish. Still unique but a member of a family.

Full description
This 1930s desk, by British mastercraftsmen, Jentique, handsomely exudes opulence and indulgence with a touch of class. This desk displays quality carving and combines traditional build with a modern finish; standing out whilst fitting in.
It an extremely functional piece of furniture and although it is one of a kind, it is the baby brother to a larger similar bureau which is now living in Devon. This may be a writing bureau but there is plenty of room for a laptop. It is carved from solid oak and upcycled in Annie Sloan's Graphite Chalk Paint with black wax to reinforce the lustre and depth of the graphite paint creating a wonderful unique charming piece of furniture. This is a treasure saved from landfill.
It measures 77 cm wide, 106 cm high, 48 cm deep desk closed and 78cm deep desk open. The contents are for illustrative purposes only and are not for sale.
