What can i say, i'm Piscean, so it was inevitable for me that i would make fish designs - both singular and swimming in pairs. I have been making them in one form or another for many years now. One of my first ever college projects was a fish wallhanging and the very first piece i ever sold was too. So they are close to my heart

Full description
Fish Shield Wallhanging - 22.5cm (9") long plus yarn hanging loop, edging and danglers with handmade, painted paper beads - (Overall length approx 62cm). I designed the fish and the circular bubbles, by embossing softened metal (drinks cans) then stitched them in place onto the background of dyed silk and painted sequin fabric (stiffened on the back to hold it's shape). Everything is secured in place with machine stitching. The mixed yarns are added to tone or compliment the finished piece
