Item details

I will endeavour to post within 24 hours, but items may still take a long time to reach you due to the pressure under which the Post Office is working. Unfortunately I will no longer be able to send items to Northern Ireland.
Actual colours may vary. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colours and that everyone sees these colours differently. Therefore I cannot guarantee that the colour you see accurately portrays the true colour of the product.

My children loved this story when they were little, and now my grandchildren still do. I have to recite it to them from memory, because the 1970s Ladybird version is long defunct!

This item will be posted to you by XStitcherJoss within 3 days of receiving payment.

Full description

This is a light cream, soft acrylic Afghan shawl or cot blanket, upon which I have hand-embroidered the story of Chicken Licken, with designs of my own making. I have fringed the edges. It measures 24" (61cm.) by 38" (97cm.) approximately, within the fringe. The threads are colour-fast and the shawl can be hand-washed in cool water. It could also be used as a nursery wall-hanging

Designed by Jocelyn Hayes in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire
