I have seen a very similar fire opal necklace in a botigue jewellers in Truro without the sterling silver spacer beads with smaller opals for over £875.00! Buying direct from the designer/makers saves an absolute fortune and often getting better quality gemstones.

Full description
A beautiful necklace designed and hand crafted by Demelza Designs using quality faceted shades of Mexican Fire Opal rondelles which slightly graduate in size from front to back. Between each fire opal are 2mm sterling silver spacer beads to add a touch of elegance and sophistication to the piece. For the main construction professional stainless steel jewellers wire has been used for added strength and durability, finished off with a 925 sterling silver bolt ring clasp. The necklace finished length is 23" inches.
Within the trade Fire opal from Mexico is very difficult to obtain in any grade within the jewellery industry worldwide. This necklace is a genuine 'one off' product as I can no longer obtain or even afford to replenish my stock!
The item is ready to be dispatched within 24 hours of receiving payment, delivered by Royal Mail Signed For Next Working Day service. It will come presented wrapped in tissue paper and placed inside a luxury satin look fabric zipped jewellery pouch.
