A cuddly squid with a fittingly sea-themed appearance.

It is handsewn out of cotton fabric: nearly entirely dark blue with a pattern of white and red fish, excluding the underside of its legs and tentacles, which is red with black and white patterns. It has eyes and a ring around them both made out of black and blue acrylic felt, respectively. There are highlights in its eyes stitched in white thread. On the back, there is a small label with the name of the shop on it.

When its tentacles are stretched out, the squid is about 36 cm long. Usually, though, its legs and tentacles curl up a bit.

The squid should be safe to give to children but it is not a toy and supervision is advised. Feel free to cuddle it, though.

I love cephalopods. Octopuses are actually my favourite sea creature - I even have a tattoo of one - but I couldn't work out how to sew one of those. I love squid, though, since the fins on their head are adorable and they apparently could be even smarter than octopuses. The squid are one of my favourite things that I sew because although they take absolutely forever, they are the cuddliest, in my opinion!
