I'm currently obsessed with a genre of cinema called Poliziotteschi. They're crime movies made in Italy, mainly in the Seventies - think Dirty Harry but with moustaches, Fiat 500s and espressos. One of the best films in this genre is Umberto Lenzi's The Cynic, The Rat and The Fist, starring Maurizio Merli, Tomas Milian, and American b-movie legend, John Saxon.
I love it so much, I've made prints of the three stars. This is Tomas Milian, the devious, wise-cracking villain of the film. In many ways he's actually the hero as he's extremely cool. He has a plaster on his head that is never, ever referred to.
