Another piece emerges from our precious old sycomore timber baulk. I've made a couple of things from this beautifully intact old piece but this time I thought I'd go for big, about as big as we can turn on our lathe ... took quite a time!

This is about 25 cm tall and 15 cm wide, hence the multi-purpose title. I don't know for sure what it is, but it kind of asked to be turned this way ...
