Maisy and her best friend Mo live in a pretty village called Mulberry Green. Maisy lives with her mother and father on Mulberry Farm and Mo lives in a little cottage at the top of Mulberry Lane.
In the village there is a post office, a bakery, a sweet shop, a hardware shop, a greengrocer’s, a sewing shop, a butcher’s and a grocer’s.There is also a little church and, of course, a school – Mulberry Green Infants’ School, where Maisy and Mo are pupils.
Maisy has a cute little puppy, called Molly and Mo has a baby sister called Daisy.
There are other children in Maisy’s class at Mulberry Green Infants’School - Violet, Billy, Amber, Rosie, Ruby, Marigold and twins Oliver and Olivia. The children are all 28cm tall, Baby Daisy is 16cm and Molly the dog is just 8cm. Maisy and Mo love nothing more than having adventures with their friends. Amelia’s mum runs the ballet school in Mulberry Green and has a little dancewear shop in Bluebell Lane full of lovely outfits for the Mulberry Green characters to wear for their dance lessons.
Amelia is a lovely little doll made from CE safe best quality de Witte doll skin from Holland. She has blond hair (pure mohair) in a bun fastened round with ribbon and is dressed in a ballet outfit - a lavender leotard, fully lined, and a matching tutu and ballet cardigan trimmed with tiny pearlescent cupped sequins . A lovely gift for a little girl.
Amelia is CE safe but us not suitable for children under 3
Mulberry Green is all about a time, now gone, but not so very long ago, when children had a great deal of freedom to explore their surroundings and use their imagination in play. A time when the world moved at a slower pace and things were made to last. To celebrate this heritage, wherever possible, I use traditional crafts and materials to create my dolls and outfits. My dolls come boxed.
