Full description
Owl Moon Mandala – 17.5cm (7") round plus yarn hanging loop, edging and danglers with handmade, painted paper beads - (Overall length approx 65cm). I printed the owl design onto fabric with a lino print that i made, then painted it with fabric paints, outlined it in gold, then stitched in place. The background is a painted fabric (stiffened on the back to hold its shape). The background depicts a moon with a detail in embossed metal (softened drinks can). Everything is secured in place with machine stitching. The mixed yarns and stitch colour are added to tone or compliment the finished piece
