This small non-descript table felt smooth and rounded under my fingers and this inspired me to paint pin-sharp geometric shapes on it reminiscent of the 1960s. The table was sanded and waxed to a high sheen, some ideas were then doodled on scrap paper before a life-size mock-up was drawn on lining paper. Then the fun really began as I set to work on the design. Out of my comfort zone for sure but I like this table and had a lot of fun creating it.

This small table packs a statement punch with geometric shapes painted with colours reminiscent of the 1960's Mod era. Functional, practical and quirky makes this a unique and bespoke primary coloured piece of furniture. And fun!!! Standing out whilst fitting in.
The original wood top has been sanded back then polished with clear and dark wax to a deep, natural sheen. The top has been painted using Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint in Graphite, Old White, Giverny and English Yellow. The legs are painted graphite black and coated in black wax to reinforce the lustre and depth of the graphite paint creating a wonderful unique charming piece of furniture. You really will not find another like this.
It measures 54 cm wide, 65 cm high and 40 cm deep. The contents are for illustrative purposes only and are not for sale.
