A One-Of-A-Kind hand embroidered square (ish) brooch of two blue birds snuggling together to keep warm while the snow falls around them. The birds have been made by needle felting the design onto wool felt in white and blue wool roving which has been embroidered over to detail the birds feathers. They are sitting on a branch that has been made the same way. I imagined the little birds fluffing their feathers up to stay warm and so I used the needle felting to give that sense of fluffiness. Each snowflake has been embroidered individually in different patterns and fall all around the birds perch. This cute snow scene has then been backed onto a thick piece of wool felt in my signature style which makes the finished brooch quite sturdy.

This wintry brooch would look great pinned onto a top or a hat or even a handbag, actually, anywhere you fancy pinning it to. Perfect as a gift for someone special or a treat for yourself. It will come attached to a piece of card that will be decorative on the front with my logo and plain on the back for adding a message for gift giving.

It has a standard silver coloured metal brooch back which has been stitched on securely with six stitches per the three attachment holes.
