This handy purse was made using Upcycled herringbone tweed fabric.

A handy Coin Purse made from up-cycled blue herringbone tweed wool fabric.
Previously a very smart jacket, by a good maker, which was going to landfill because the sleeve was ripped, what a waste!!
So I made a couple of coin purses and I will also be making other useful items from the fabric, which I have washed before using.
This lovely coin purse measures 14cms by 10cms (5.5” by 4”) has a flower and mother of pearl button decoration to the front. I have interlined the purse to give it more body and finally lined in a blue and white polka dot cotton fabric. The blue zip fastener compliments the blue of the herringbone woollen fabric.
A lovely purse to give as a gift or just for yourself. Handmade and ready to be posted.
