freehand embroidered fancy floral zombie sloth – (medium / pocket sized) - blue / teal / turquoise
this adorable zombie sloth measures 12cm (4.5 inches) from the top of his lumpen head to the tips of his stubby toes, and with his arms outstretched, he has a glorious 25cm (10 inches) wingspan tipped with deadly razor-like claws.
sloth is made from hand dyed cotton calico, pale blue irish linen, and co-ordinating blue cotton fabrics. each tiny component is hand-cut and (oh, so patiently!) layered, then appliqued onto hand dyed cotton calico. the detail is stitched on freestyle, using the free motion embroidery technique.
his eyeballs are hand embroidered.
these pocket-sized zombies are entirely handmade by me on a domestic sewing machine.
everything is cut, stitched & drawn freehand by me, ensuring it is unique, well made and securely constructed.
the sloths are made from heavy weight cotton calico. i pre-wash all my fabrics so they’re soft and shouldn’t shrink if a machine wash is required.
they're stuffed with polyester filling (CE & BS5852) and finished by hand.
